ARCHITECTURAL AMPLIFICATION
A PLAN TO CREATE FAMILY THROUGH FORM
With the support of the government, architecture has the opportunity to introduce new forms of affordable housing aimed at meeting the needs of specific societal segments. Architecture should support a connection between the surrounding neighborhood and its residents as well as create the opportunity for a strong community to be formed within the architecture in order to improve the lives of residents.

The architecture of this facility is focused on helping to  combat the isolation that is a common problem for LGBT elders.
Varying public spaces support and bring in the surrounding community, giving residents opportunities to connect with neighbors
Encouraging residents to find social support networks,  the center features six neighborhoods of 10-12 units, each with amenity spaces drawing residents out of their apartments for spontaneous or planned interactions.
